Made by porcelain in a cream like color with a mat texture to accentuate the matcha tea color. This line is delicately designed by OJI Masanori in continuation to his dedication for SUSUMUYA tea ware.

The MATCHA cups are designed to enhance the tea to be more delicious. They come in two sizes, small and large. In Japan, traditionally, there are two sizes in tea wares because they are used for couples. This set is great as a gift for a wedding or anniversary.
The MATCHA Bowl comes in a traditional size for matcha tea. It is where you mix the matcha green tea powder with hot water and whisk it vigorously in a zig zag motion until the tea is frothy. Then drink the tea to be enjoyed individually straight from the bowl. The MATCHA Lipped Bowl is also designed to have the same function but, it is designed not for individual usage but for sharing in a group. The bowl comes lipped in order to easily serve the matcha tea into tea cups. This design has a more modern approach.
