In collaboration with Onami, YAMAZAKI Yoshiki designs these authentic trays that are made of stainless steel by using metal spinning technique. The tray's gentle curves and edge curling work, is unique to objects that are made by using metal spinning, which fit comfortably in your hands when you hold them. The flat surface of the tray is a raised surface, so the tray does not wobble when placed somewhere flat. They are made with a material that is less than 1mm thick, yet they are very strong because they are made by the metal spinning technique. Enjoy the natural color of silver/stainless steel and the black/KUROMURA finish. The KURO-MURA black finish makes the products something like an ancient excavated items. This is a traditional method used for Buddhist altar articles, which mixes pigments with Japanese lacquer, URUSHI. The product gradually changes its color over the course of years due to oxidization. The longer it is used, the richer and subtler it becomes.
