We regret to inform you that we have decided to limit taking orders on FUTAGAMI and MATUREWARE as increased demands have substantially surpassed their production capacity in recent months. FUTAGAMI will restore its production system, and this process should require at least several months.

We understand that we are in the midst of the holiday order season; however, we would like to give FUTAGAMI some slack for restoration.

Taking this opportunity, we would like to share with you a message from the designer of most of the FUTAGAMI items, OJI Masanori, in response to the situation:

“The COVID-19 crisis worldwide has resulted in a drastic increase in the demand for FUTAGAMI items as home decoration, and their supply is falling short. The craftsmen are doing their best to manufacture the products, but delivery is delaying. FUTAGAMI is steadily making an effort to increase its production capacity while trying not to lose the goodness of industrial crafts. The fact that you place orders on FUTAGAMI and kindly wait for the delivery of their products encourages us a lot. Your patience is helping the survival of the diminishing industrial crafts industry. Would you please give us a little more time?”

Now, here is how we have decided to cope with the situation:

It is possible to take FUTAGAMI / MATUREWARE orders now, but we can unfortunately not give you concrete delivery schedules. And, we can only do so under the condition that you accept to receive them in the next year and are willing to wait. We respect your decision.

As to the normalization of our order-taking on the brands, we will announce as soon as the situation eases, which will perhaps take place early next year.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and would appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation on this matter.
