In Wajima, the sun sets in the sea, and the full moon also sinks into the same sea.
They have created wooden plates inspired by this ever-changing scenery.
The natural wood grain resembles the undulating horizontal line of the waves,
while the wood pattern looks like flowing clouds.
These plates can be used not only as dish plates but also as trays under a plate of food.
There are two variations, "Moonlight" and "Sunlight."
Important Remark:
We regret to inform you that new orders for AIZAWA Wood Works items are currently suspended until further notice. This is due to the recent devastating earthquake that occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, in January 2024. Unfortunately, their manufacturing facilities and the surrounding area have suffered much more severe damage than initially anticipated. We will promptly provide an update once they resume normal operations and restore their production capabilities.
